Patrick Hynes
Patrick Hynes is the President of Hynes Communications, a premier national social media communications agency with offices in Washington, DC and Portsmouth, NH. Hynes served as the online outreach consultant for Sen. John McCain’s 2008 campaign for president. Hynes’ other clients include AARP, the Partnership to Fight Chronic Disease, the Mayo Clinic, the Workforce Fairness Institute and America’s Agenda, among others.

As a recognized leader in online communications, Patrick has addressed Harvard Business School, the Museum of Television and Radio, the Robert J. Dole Institute of American Politics at the University of Kansas and the Public Affairs Council on the power of social media as a communications vehicle.
Patrick is the author of the book In Defense of the Religious Right (Nelson Current). His other writings have been published in the Financial Times, USA Today, the New York Post and The American Spectator among other venues.
Patrick has appeared as a guest on ABC World News Tonight, Fox News Channel’s Hannity & Colmes, Good Morning America, CNN Talk Back Live, C-SPAN’s Washington Journal, C-SPAN 2’s After Words and even E!.

Paul Young

Paul Young serves as a Principal of Hynes Communications. Paul brings to Hynes a national reputation earned by more than twenty-five years’ experience in business, government, and politics at the highest levels.
Paul is respected for his expertise in building winning coalitions and positive public images for both the public and private sectors.
Paul’s achievements include national public relations campaigns for Fortune 500 companies including Wal-mart, Rite Aid Corporation, Wheelabrator Technologies, and Northwest Airlines.
Paul is a strategic advisor to the company promoting the overall business structure, operations, and functionality of the business. He is responsible for global strategy and sales lead generation.
Angela Carter

Angela Carter serves as the Chief Financial Officer & Principal of Hynes Communications. Angela’s powerful accounting background and high level of expertise in the marketing and advertising industry is vital to Hynes’ long-term operational success.
With extensive small business management skills, Angela oversees all facets of client communications, internal administration, production planning, and scheduling.
Angela has successfully served in this capacity for several other successful startup companies—Alternate Transit Advertising, Carter Fisheries, Calypso Communications, and PK Port Properties. For Hynes, she oversees the day-to-day finances, administration, and workflow of the company and is responsible for its overall financial well being.
Travis Gianchetta

Travis Gianchetta serves as the Vice President of Advocacy for Hynes Communications. Travis is an experienced communications and advocacy professional, skilled in leveraging technology to advance innovative communications and grassroots campaigns. His unique mix of technical acumen and political know-how allow him to create winning strategies for Hynes clients.
Before joining Hynes, Travis broke new ground by combining the latest grassroots technologies with targeted, growth-oriented communications strategies at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and the American Medical Association—two of the most powerful associations in Washington. He understands how to harness the power of the internet and social media tools to find like-minded advocates to advance issue awareness and advocacy campaigns.
Travis began his career in advocacy and politics in Washington working for Congressman Rick Hill (R-MT). He resides in Alexandria, Virginia, and has a B.A. in Political Science from Grove City College in Grove City, Pennsylvania.
Liz Mair

Liz Mair is an online communications expert, new media adviser, political consultant and blogger. She serves as Vice President for Hynes Communications, focusing on communications and political strategy.
During 2008, Liz served as Online Communications Director at the Republican National Committee, where she led an aggressive and groundbreaking online media outreach effort aimed at electing John McCain, Sarah Palin and Republicans across the country. In her work for Hynes Communications, she utilizes that experience, her extensive knowledge of the blogosphere, new media, and politics generally and diverse array of media contacts to further client objectives.
Liz is also a sought after guest speaker, having presented on a diversity of new media topics at conferences including CPAC 2008, BlogHer 2008, and the 2009 Personal Democracy Forum. She has also guest-commentated on BBC radio, CNN, CNN.com, C-SPAN, FOX, MSNBC, NPR, the Lars Larson show and countless other radio shows across the country and around the world.
Born and raised in Seattle, Liz lived in the United Kingdom for ten years. There, she earned an MA in International Relations from the University of St. Andrews and attended law school, ultimately practicing corporate law in the City of London for three years. Liz also holds a certificate in Political and Social Sciences from the Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris.
Kevin Stickney
Kevin Stickney serves as a Principal of Hynes Communications. Kevin has more than twenty-five years’ executive-level experience in managing complex public affairs issues involving environmental technology and a range of other industries.
He is an expert in national media relations strategies and comprehensive employee, investor, and marketing communications programs for legislative, labor, and regulatory matters; manufacturing sectors; service sector businesses; and capital project business development.
Kevin is a strategic advisor to the company promoting the overall business structure, operations, and functionality of the business. He is responsible for global strategy and sales lead generation.
Ethan Kendrick

Ethan Kendrick is an Account Services Director with Hynes Communications. In this capacity, he is the lead contact on accounts including the Partnership to Fight Chronic Disease and AARP, and is responsible for managing Hynes’ pro bono work.
Ethan came to Hynes Communications from Calypso Communications where he worked on national campaigns ranging from promoting health care reform solutions to encouraging the adoption and support of alternative energy sources. On a statewide level, Ethan helped to raise support for non-profit hospice centers, the statewide food bank system, and what has become New Hampshire’s premiere film/performing arts center.
Prior to his work at Calypso, Ethan helped establish Barack Obama’s footprint in the primary state of New Hampshire starting with his initial announcement tour in 2007. He worked to construct volunteer recruitment systems, target and draw support from local leaders, organize rallies, and build grassroots fundraising chains for the then-Senator. Ethan moved on to help spread the campaign’s revolutionary web strategy across New Hampshire as well as neighboring New England states.
A native of Shelburne Falls, Massachusetts, he is also a graduate of the University of New Hampshire, where he studied American History, Economics, Quantitative Methodology and Mass Communication.
James Richardson
James Richardson serves as Account Services Director with Hynes Communications, in which role he focuses on communications and political strategy for a variety of Hynes clients.
Based in Atlanta, James previously served as Communications Director for the College Republican National Committee, leading the organization’s aggressive media relations effort during 2009. During 2008, he worked as the Republican National Committee’s Online Communications Manager, in which capacity he helped implement the Committee’s highly-regarded online communications strategy focused on electing John McCain, Sarah Palin, and Republicans nationwide.
James is a contributing editor at RedState.com whose work has also been featured on media outlets including The Daily Caller, CBS News, The Atlantic, and Politico. He regularly guest-commentates for both MSNBC and CNN and is a proud University of Georgia Bulldog.
