Time for Strippers to Hide their Assets

Wednesday, April 15, 2009

Webcam strippers of the world beware!  Your government may be after you.  At least if they follow the lead of the Swedish government in cracking down on tax evading young woman who share their beauty via webcams for a fee.  Fox News reports that It seems the Swedish government is so strapped for cash, sound familiar, that it has set up a task force to crack down on these nubile young tax evaders.  The government point man Dag Hardyson has some classic lines that can only come out of a government bureaucrat’s mouth.  “We had to do something. We want all these girls to be compliant with the system” he says explaining that the government uses $5 M a year and it is a growing problem.  By the way, I think our elected officials use $1M bills to light their cigars nowadays so the good news for webcam strippers in America is that they may not be worthy of a government crackdown, unless they happen to be “rich” then they might want to head for cover, so to speak.  Another classic from our friend Dag, “They are young girls, we can see from the photos. We think that perhaps they are not well informed about the rules”.  Just for the record, if the U.S. government decides it is time to harvest electronic stripper taxes, sign me up.  I’m not sure I can come up with one-liners like Dag but I do think I am qualified to surf the web looking at young naked girls all day.  It’s a tough job but somebody has to do it and Dag seems to be just the man to do it.  I can just imagine what the tax audits are like, “Please maam can you show me your assets one more time….
