New Application Makes It Easier to Join the Twitter Craze

Mashable is reporting the launch of a new Twitter too, followformation, designed to assist new and existing users find interesting people to follow.  Followformation‘s launch will help all users find interesting people, but it will help the “chirpers” or novice users more - allowing the less established to get right into the mix.

The new twitter tool will breakdown users into categories such as actor, celebrity, writer, and several others in order to breakdown specific interest. You just have to simply choose your interest and you will find the top tweeters in each category, based on the number of followers.

In the near future people will be able to buy the top spots under these categories; however followformation will be saving spots, free of charge to qualified non-profits. Users can also create custom categories if their interested category is not available.

Though not the first Twitter directory out there, followformation at the moment appears to be the most effective.
