The Redskins are the undisputed kings of the sports hill in Washington, DC.  While their fortunes of late have been underwhelming, three Super Bowl rings and rich history and tradition keep the fans packed in the stands, and makes DC one of the best football towns in the NFL.

The Capitals, however, have always fought for exposure and attention in Washington.

Facebook About Face

Last week, social networking giant Facebook made changes to its Terms and Conditions that led to a virtual revolt against the site by its users.

The social media tools on Facebook worked so well, that the site’s own tools fueled a user mutiny.  Keep in mind, the issue at hand was a change to the legalese buried deep in the Terms and Conditions that virtually no one reads before they click “Accept.”  The slim few that noticed the change were able to use social media and tools, like Facebook itself, to stoke a fire and build an inferno of outrage.  The few had the tools necessary to quickly and efficiently inform the masses, and the rest is history.
